Volunteers

Volunteers are a lifeblood to many organisations, but especially to our own - because they also bring their own lived experience to their role. This makes our organisation so much richer and more helpful to those we are striving to support.

Liam - is a certified peer practitioner who has taken our 8 week peer training as well as our emotional CPR training too. He brings much valuable experience and empathy to his role as a volunteer within our organisation.

Jax is a certified peer2peer practitioner and brings her considerable lived experience to enable her to support others.

Katy has completed our certified peer2peer training course as well as the emotional CPR training and is enjoying putting her skills into practise as a peer practitioner supporting others regularly.

Anne Fearfull
Director

Anne is one of longest serving members of our board and also offers her own expertise in the role of volunteer. Although retired, Anne has a long-standing eminent background in academia, and also draws from her own lived experience to support the strategic direction of the organisation, but also brings great empathy to all her many volunteering roles. We are fortunate to have her.

Maggie Anderson
Director

Maggie is one of our directors and brings considerable experience to our board, especially as she works within an academic setting delivering business and entrepreneurship studies with a real passion for community development. Maggie also brings her own lived experience to the board and is able to empathise and draw on her own experience to guide the strategic direction of the organisation. We are very grateful she chooses to share this knowledge and learning with us as it is so valuable in moving the organisation forward in the right direction.
